Huram

hū´ram (חוּרם, ḥūrām, “noble-born”):
(1) Grandson of Benjamin (1Ch_8:5).
(2) King of Tyre in alliance with David and Solomon. So named in 2Ch_2:3, 2Ch_2:11, 2Ch_2:12; 2Ch_8:2; 2Ch_9:10, 2Ch_9:21, but elsewhere written HIRAM (which see).
(3) The Tyrian artisan who is so named in 2Ch_2:13; 2Ch_4:11, 2Ch_4:16, but elsewhere called “Hiram.”
