Irad

ī´rad (עירד, ‛īrādh; "runner," or "wild ass"; Septuagint Γαιδάδ, Gaidád):

One of the antediluvian patriarchs, the father of Mehujael. He was the grandson of Cain and son of Enoch (Genesis 4:18).
