jok´ḗ-bed (יוכבד, yōkhebhedh, “Yahweh is glory” or "YHWH is her glory"):

Daughter of Levi, wife of Amram and mother of Miriam, Aaron, and Moses (Exodus 6:20; Numbers 26:59). According to Exodus 6:20, she was a sister of Kohath, Amram's father (compare Exodus 16, Exodus 18; Exodus 2:1-10).
