(1) Codex Alexandrinus Σαβεί, Sabeí; Codex Vaticanus Τωβείς, Tōbeís, Fritzache; the King James Version, Sami): Eponym of a family of porters who returned with Zerubbabel (1 Esdras 5:28) = “Shobai” in Ezra 2:42; Nehemiah 7:45.

(2) The King James Version = the Revised Version (British and American) Sabie (which see).
