sal´i-moth (Codex Vaticanus Σαλειμώθ, Saleimṓth; Codex Alexandrinus Ἀσσαλιμώθ, 'Assalimṓth; the latter is due to a wrong division of syllables; the King James Version Assailmoth):

The same as “Shelomith” (Ezra 8:10). Salimoth, the son of Josaphias, of the family of Banias, and with him 130 men went up to Jerusalem with Ezra (1 Esdras 8:36).
